La Noche Blanca del Flamenco returns to the squares and streets of Cordoba with eleven concerts
The White Night of Flamenco returns to Cordoba to flood the streets and squares with art, find out all about it in this post!

Eleven stages spread throughout the streets and squares of the city will host the thirteenth edition of the Noche Blanca del Flamenco de Córdoba, which will once again flood a large part of the historic centre and neighbourhoods of the capital with flamenco chords during the night of 18-19 June.
Two years after its last edition in 2019, the Mayor of Cordoba, José María Bellido, and the delegate of Culture of the City Council of Cordoba, Marián Aguilar, presented this year's poster in an event that took place in the Posada del Potro and in which they were accompanied by representatives of the collaborating entities.
In his speech, Bellido pointed out that "the celebration of the Noche Blanca del Flamenco means the recovery of one of the most important events on the city's cultural agenda", as well as reminding that thanks to this night "Córdoba will once again be the epicentre of flamenco worldwide".
From flamenco "jondo" to new flamenco forms
On the artistic side, this year's line-up offers a range of styles and possibilities for all tastes. From the performances of established singers such as Estrella Morente and Argentina to the performances of two of the exponents of the "new generation" of the most heterodox flamenco such as Lucía Fernanda and Soleá Morente.
Jondo lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy the voices of Ezequiel Benítez from Jerez and José Valencia from Lebrija, while Lin Cortés from Cordoba will raise the decibels of the night with his black sounds and rock music in what will be the final highlight of the event.
Farru will be the protagonist of the dance, while the guitar of Dani de Morón will do the same in the section reserved for the six strings. For his part, the flamenco singer and pianist Diego Amador and the guitarist José María Bandera will offer a concert for lovers of instrumental music, with the music of the master Paco de Lucía as the central theme.
Finally, the most original proposals on the bill include the show by the Chicharrón Circo Company, which combines circus acts with flamenco, and the concert by the group Hamid Ajbar Flamenco Fusion, which will combine Arab music with flamenco quejíos.
New venues and closer to the neighbourhoods
The organisation and timing of concerts for this year's edition once again aims to favour mobility, avoid the concentration of people that could lead to overcrowded spaces and blockages, as well as the objective of bringing the concerts closer to the neighbourhoods. All in all, the main venues will remain the same. The Plaza de las Tendillas will host Estrella Morente's performance, while the Plaza de la Corredera and the Patio de los Naranjos will host concerts by Argentina and Dani de Morón.
The more classical proposals are maintained in the Plaza de San Agustín, where Ezequiel Benítez and José Valencia will take to the stage, and Compás de San Francisco, with Diego Amador and José María Bandera. Meanwhile, dance returns to its natural space in the Entorno de la Calahorra, this time with Farru.
The Plaza del Potro repeats the stage with Lucía Fernanda and also the Jardines del Alcázar, which already joined the list of locations in the last edition, with the concert by Lin Cortés.
The main novelties of this edition are the incorporation of the Plaza de Matías Prats, the pedestrian area of the Avenida de la Viñuela and the Plaza del Conde de Priego to the list of venues, where Hamid Ajbar Flamenco, Compañía Chicharrón Circo and Soleá Morente will perform, respectively.
The programming of the concerts will once again coincide with some of the shows that are expected to be more crowded in order to avoid the dangerous crowds of previous years and favour a better enjoyment of the performances.
The thirteenth edition of the Noche Blanca del Flamenco has a budget of 192,800 euros, the sponsorship of the Cajasur Foundation and the collaboration of Casa Árabe and the Cathedral Chapter.
