From France to the World: Arles Flamenco Festival
The Arles Flamenco Festival will once again bring to the French city the best of the world in flamenco dance, singing and guitar playing. ALL FLAMENCO has the pleasure to collaborate in this festival dedicated to this art form.
The Arles Flamenco Festival will take place from 2 to 14 August 2022, in Arles (France). Arles is a historic city if ever there was one, a crossroads of peoples and cultures and the world capital of photography.
This is one of the cities with the greatest cultural offer in the world, so the quality of its proposals has meant that, in just four editions of the festival, it has become a reference point for flamenco festivals in France and all the work carried out at the festival is taken into consideration internationally.
In addition, this year, our channel dedicated exclusively to ALL FLAMENCO will be a partner of the festival and viewers of the platform will be able to enjoy it at home from any device.
New generations
The intention of this festival is to present the artists of the new generation of flamenco, where contemporary trends are developed while respecting the art of "pure" flamenco.
A young, fresh and dynamic option that presents the most traditional flamenco.
In addition, there are also parallel artistic proposals such as: dance, music, singing, photography, poetry, painting...
The figure of women at the Arles festival
The figure of women takes almost centre stage in the shows programmed and for eleven days, flamenco artists, musicians, dancers, singers, poets, will occupy several prestigious places in the city of Arles: the old theatre, the courtyard of the archdiocese, the banks of the Rhône, foundations and art galleries.
