David Lagos, Estrella Morente, Tomatito and Eva Yerbabuena, among the Great Concerts of Flamenco On Fire
The festival will begin at the end of August 2023 and includes, in addition to great artists, an exclusive tribute to flamenco singer Manolo Caracol.

The cycle 'Grandes Conciertos' (Great Concerts) each year brings to the public the top figures of flamenco, both established and emerging artists. This year the cycle and the 10th edition kicked off with Miguel Poveda at the Baluarte Auditorium with his show Cantes y poemas del cante jondo, the only one of its kind on his 2023 tour. It is the starting signal for the succession of great flamenco figures that will perform at the festival, including David Lagos, Farruquito, Tomatito, Eva Yerbabuena and Estrella Morente.
Artists that will perform in the "Grandes Conciertos" (Great Concerts)
David Lagos, "Clásico Personal"
Ruinas de San Pedro de Viana with Clásico personal on August 18 at 9 pm.
Considered one of the main values of the present flamenco, he sings, composes and faces projects of different nature: with social commitment, electronic and the most disparate attributes. In short, 'Clásico personal' is the particular seal of a cantaor full of virtues, contemporary of his time and willing to honor the memory of a culture that is still alive.
Farruquito and Juan el Moreno, "Bajaní"
Gaztambide Theater of Tudela with Bajañí on the 19th at 21.30.
The eldest of the Fernández brothers, son of El Moreno and La Farruca, grandson of Farruco and a figure with an international presence for decades, has taken his dance expression to the most important places on the planet, placing cultural flags in London and New York. Now he is heading to Pamplona to showcase the axis of his life: family dance.
Tribute to Manolo Caracol
Baluarte Auditorium. Wednesday, August 23rd. 21:30 h.
Vicente Soto "Sordera", Antonio Reyes, Rosario "La Tremendita" and Orquesta Sinfónica De Navarra.
On Wednesday, August 23, a Flamenco On Fire production will take place at the Baluarte Auditorium: A history of the flamenco singer, with Vicente Soto Sordera, Antonio Reyes, La Tremendita, the Symphony Orchestra of Navarra and other guest artists delving into the universe of Manolo Caracol 50 years after his death.
Tomatito, "Viviré"
Baluarte Auditorium. Thursday, August 24th. 21:30 h.
In the same space and also at 9.30 p.m. will be Tomatito with Viviré, a show that gathers a flood of his own compositions, in which the "jondo" (deep) style rides and sounds like those emblematic records with the singer from San Fernando, but from the present time. The singers Guadiana and Duquende, emblems of the gypsy and canastera expression, will be on stage with him at Baluarte.
Eva Yerbabuena and Juan Kruz with Re-fraction (from my eyes)
Baluarte Auditorium. Friday, August 25. 21:30 h.
Re-fracción (desde mis ojos)' is a joint venture in which the talented choreographer Juan Kruz joins from the prism of the performative and contemporary. La Yerbabuena, in this new production, dances soleá and seeks images of great impact, but also reflects and explores the memory and the skin. She does so in front of a large cast of singers who accompany her in this game of lights and mirrors to see, search, refract and continue exploring her own experience.
David de Arahal, Víctor Franco and Alejandro Hurtado and José del Tomate
Baluarte Auditorium. Saturday, August 26th. 21:30 h.
Under the artistic direction of Rycardo Moreno, a musician from Lebrija with a strong personality, the guitar boasts youth. Alzapúa' has only one protagonist: the instrument, which is sponsored by four new guitar discourses, armed at the root and, although belonging to the same trunk, different: Alejandro Hurtado, David de Arahal, José del Tomate and Víctor Franco. Sandra Carrasco, Gema Moneo and Fernanda Peña will join this unprecedented encounter as guest artists.
Estrella Morente, Desde la cuna
Baluarte Auditorium. Sunday, August 27. 21:30 h.
Medal of Andalusia, Ondas Award and Latin Grammy nominee, muse of Pedro Almodóvar and Carlos Saura, with whom she has worked for films like 'Volver' and 'Flamenco flamenco', now presents her art full of dramaturgy and intimacy in 'Desde la cuna', a show created by Estrella herself and Montoyita, and that puts on stage the complaints, scraps and seams of a transcendental singer for contemporary flamenco.
