Soleá Morente in Baeza

Renaissance by Candlelight returns in 2023 on 9 September to illuminate the World Heritage city with more than 30,000 candles. An experience of sensations that will make us travel back in time for yet another edition. Soleá Morente will perform in the prelude to Renacimiento a la Luz de las Velas in Plaza de Santa María (Baeza).

Soleá Morente believed as a child that Federico was a friend of her father’s, not the emblematic poet that anyone would have in mind between Granada and New York. This is perhaps why his latest album is not titled ‘Morente y Carbonell’, but ‘Aurora y Enrique’, his parents, masters of a powerful and skilful art that has found new discourses in the generation he leads together with his two siblings: Estrella and Kiki Morente.
