From 7 to 11 September, a new edition of the Madrid es Moda (MeM) initiative will be held, marking the start of Madrid Fashion Week.

The inaugural event will take place this September 7 at the National Archaeological Museumwhere fashion and flamenco will merge in a performance where models will be present, music by the hand of leading figures of flamenco and dance.

A contest organized by the Asociación Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) thanks to the support of the Madrid Capital de Moda platform of the Madrid City Council. Its aim is to bring designer design closer to the public through original events throughout the city, reaffirming its commitment to new formats and times in the fashion sector.

More than 20 designers and brands will participate. Beatriz Peñalver, Devota & Lomba, Duarte, Duyos, Encinar, Esther Noriega, Evade House, Félix Ramiro, García Madrid, Gran Canaria Moda Cálida, Javier Delafuente, Juan Vidal, Juanjo Oliva, Leandro Cano, Malne, María Lafuente, Moisés Nieto, Odette Álvarez, Oteyza, Otrura, Pertegaz, Raquel López o The Extreme Collection.
