As part of the Italian Green Music festival, Tony Esposito’s show in an original Neapolitan and flamenco key, with the flamenco guitar of Juan Lorenzo.
A show between the Andalusian, Mediterranean, Arabic, Neapolitan and even Latin American worlds (the latter became part of the flamenco music repertoire).
The project Flamenco de Ida y Vuelta (literally, there and back, i.e. the Spaniards who colonised the cultures of South America) essentially represents the encounter between the various worlds described above, with special attention to styles such as guajira and Cuban Colombian rumba, tango and moresca.
An important contribution is made by the various and particular percussion instruments used by Maestro Esposito, which characterise the concert, and by the technical virtuosity of the musicians Federico Pietroni and Lino Pariota.
Flamenco de Ida y Vuelta can be seen free of charge by calling the organiser.
