This September 24, the XV Festival Flamenco Solidario brings Carmen Alba, finalist of the program “A tu vera”; Los Soles de Mikeo, who perform a tribute to the rumba of the 80s and 90s; and, to Luis María Medina and Sandra Bellido, who will make the tribute “De Rocío a Isabel”, by Isabel Pantoja and Rocío Jurado.
Carmen Alba will be the one who inaugurates the Flamenco Solidarity Festival, with a copla show accompanied on the piano by maestro Juan Miguel Silva.
Los Soles de Mikeo will perform classics by Los Chunguitos, Los Chichos, Los Calis, Bordón 4 and Sombra y Luz, among others. They will make you travel to the times where these rumbas had the highest success. Their repertoire is based on songs known to all, with which you will surely enjoy and dance.
More classics, by Jurado and Pantoja, will be those that close the contest with the performances of Sandra Bellido, Luisa Medina and the direction of Rubén Robles
The sale of tickets, the tombola and the collection of the bar will go to the charity bag of the brotherhood. The doors will open at 18:30 p.m. and the festival will begin at 19:00 p.m. Advance tickets are priced at 8 euros and can also be purchased at the box office or online for 10 euros.
The organization of the Solidarity Flamenco Festival is in charge of the Brotherhood of Humility and Patience and Our Lady of Health in collaboration with the City Council of Zafra (Badajoz), which gives the facilities free of charge.
