Get ready for the 67th Albacete Festival 2023 that this September 1 presents “Entre hilos y huesos”. It is a co-production of the company DDCdanza and the Teatros del Canal.
This luxury show at the Albacete Festival is complaint and denunciation, it is poetic justice expressed from an avant-garde, daring dance that travels through tradition and contemporaneity, which takes refuge in the songs of yesteryear, but which overflows and explodes in its validity. The latest scenic proposal of the choreographer and dancer Daniel Doña, which could be described as archaeological since it follows the artistic footsteps of creators of the last century: from Federico García Lorca to Antonia Mercé, Manuel de Falla, Miguel Hernández, Maruja Mallo, Picasso, Carmen Amaya, Buñuel or Pilar López.
The piece brings together Sara Jiménez, Jordi Vilaseca, Marina Paje, Cristian Martín and Daniel Doña himself; singing, Inma La Carbonera and David Vázquez; Antonia Jiménez and Paco Cruz on guitar; the cello José Luís López; and percussion Nasrine Rahmani. Entre hilos y huesos also has the lighting designs of Olga García with technician Celso Hernando, sound of Oscar Vizcaíno, costumes of Belén
of the Quintana, of masks of Ricardo Vergne, and with the scenic space of Elisa Sanz.
