From 10 to 30 August, the first edition of this festival will be held in the town of Níjar, Almería. On the 15th, the guitarist José Fermín Fernández, who began to stand out in flamenco tablaos and caves in Granada at the age of 20, and who soon after joined the tablao Casa del Arte Flamenco, where he has accompanied artists such as Belén López, Miguel “El Rubio” and Karime Amaya, among others.
José Fermín Fernández is destined to be one of those who will write the future of flamenco guitar. A prodigious guitarist and composer, he will give a solo concert that is difficult to see on the flamenco scene.
With this festival, the Níjar Town Hall intends to fill the squares and enclaves of Agua Amarga, the Villa de Níjar, La Isleta and San José with flamenco art and feeling. These are places with magic and charm that, in August, will offer even more enchantment with flamenco dancing and flamenco singing as their flagship.
