The bailaora Lidia Cabello in San Fernando

The Circuito Andaluz de Peñas 2023, endorsed by the Andalucía-flamenco brand, will be held in the province of Cádiz between 10 June and 18 November. On 9 September the bailaora Lydia Cabello will perform at the Peña Flamenca Camarón de la Isla, in San Fernando.

She was born in Cádiz in 1973 and studied at the Conservatorio de Danza y Arte Dramático in Seville. She spent 4 years in the company of Cristina Hoyos with the shows “Sueños flamencos”, “Caminos andaluces” and “Yerma”. She was prima ballerina of Parque de España in Japan. He worked with the companies of Adrián Galia and Rafael Aguilar.

In 2003, Lydia Cabello created her own company, premiering the show “Recordándote” at the Gran Teatro Falla. He has created numerous shows such as “Maera Vieja”, “Al sur del sur”, “El flamenco viene del sur”, “Esencia”, “Cádiz eterna” and “La raíz de mi querer”, with which he has toured many countries. She currently directs and teaches lessons at her flamenco dance academy in Cádiz and continues to create shows.
