The virtuoso violinist celebrates a decade of his most iconic work with a sold-out, unforgettable concert
Málaga, November 1st, 2025 – It’s not every day that an artist celebrates the tenth anniversary of a groundbreaking work. And even less so with a completely sold-out concert in one of Spain’s most prestigious theatres. Paco Montalvo did just that. Last night, the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga became the epicenter of emotion and artistry as the Cordoban violinist once again amazed and moved his audience in a tribute to Alma del violín flamenco, the show that marked a before and after in flamenco history.
Part of his new commemorative tour, the concert revisited a piece that has redefined the expressive potential of the violin in flamenco, merging classical sensitivity with the deep soul of Andalusian music.
A night full of emotion, artistry, and connection
From the opening notes, Paco Montalvo established a powerful connection with the audience, filling the theatre with passion and virtuosity. His violin doesn’t just play — it weeps, sings, and bursts with flamenco soul, masterfully blending technique and emotion in every phrase.
Sharing the stage with an exceptional group of artists — flamenco guitarist Jesús Gómez, percussionist Miguel Santiago, Carmen Burgos and Carmela Gil on backing vocals and palmas — the concert had a special local flavor. Málaga-born dancer Yaiza Gámez added intensity and visual elegance, and rising star Matías López surprised everyone with a guest performance that was met with thunderous applause.

Next stop: Palau de la Música and a nationwide tour
After this Málaga triumph, Paco Montalvo’s tour continues at the prestigious Palau de la Música in Barcelona, followed by several more stops across Spain in early 2026. His fusion of flamenco spirit and violin mastery continues to win hearts and reshape the flamenco soundscape.
At ALL FLAMENCO, we proudly follow Montalvo’s artistic journey — an artist whose fearless innovation and deep respect for tradition make him a key figure in today’s flamenco scene.
