The Municipal Flamenco Classroom reaches its twentieth edition this year 2023. It began in February and is already entering its final stretch, closing with the concert on November 27 with the painting by Antonio Soto.
But today it is the turn of Ezequiel Benítez, a very recognized artist and laureate by the press and by the public, a different and original artist, full of flamenco and personality, who never leaves anyone indifferent. It is between the orthodox and the novel at the same time. The creation of lyrics and the particular imprint that he prints on his interpretations makes him a very original singer, with ideas of his own harvest.
He has been a singing teacher at the Instituto Internacional Ifi Jerez for more than 10 years. Besides, it has its own flamenco singing school, where its students from all over the world learn the necessary techniques to be and understand what it is to be a good artist.
Regarding the Municipal Flamenco Classroom, this was created to publicize the wealth that Malaga treasures, so the posters are formed by men and women of that land. It is a contest organized by the area of Festivities of the City Council with the collaboration of the Provincial Council.
Admission to the event is free until full capacity is reached, after withdrawal of invitations in the Department of Festivals of the City of Malaga on the same day of the event. Those that remain available can be picked up at the cultural center from 19:00 p.m.
