Carmen Linares and Polito

As part of the Cante de las Minas 2023, Carmen Linares will perform on the 6th in the Mercado, the so-called “Cathedral of Flamenco”. It will be with her concert 40 años de flamenco, an essential repertoire that has made her a living flamenco legend and earned her the 2022 Princess of Asturias Award for the Arts. Carmen is accompanied by the jondura of her guitars and the soniquete of her Triana palms to express her anthology of women’s songs by alegrías, soleares, fandangos, tangos and cantes mineros, singing the identity of Andalusia and the dramatic essence of poets such as Lorca and Miguel Hernández.

Double session tonight, because Antonio Moreno Fernández, Polito, presents the show Y tú in which he takes a journey through his intense professional career from 1991 to the present day, showing a unique staging characterised by elegance and avant-gardism that will reveal his energy and virtuosity on stage.
